Epoxy Flooring
Epoxy is a two part resin that bonds down into open concrete instead of sitting on the surface like paint. Once it cures you have a seamless, hard, chemical resistant floor with no grout lines and nowhere for oil or dust to hide. Straight answers about your floor coating questions
Do you install carpet, tile or hardwood?
No. Pro Level Floor Coatings is a concrete coatings specialist. We grind, coat and seal concrete floors, and that is all we do.
What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Epoxy is the hard base coat that bonds into the concrete. Polyaspartic is the topcoat that goes over it, cures faster and holds its color in the sun. Most of our floors use both, each doing the job it is best at.
What is a decorative flake or chip floor?
Color chips are broadcast into the wet base coat until the floor is full, then locked in under a clear topcoat. You get a hard floor with a light texture that hides dust and tire marks, and the blend is picked to suit the space.
Do you work on commercial floors as well as homes?
Yes. We coat home garages, patios and interior slabs, and shop, service bay, pole barn and light warehouse floors. The system changes with the traffic the floor takes.
How do I know a coating is right for my slab?
James looks at it first. If the concrete underneath is sound, a coating is usually the best value there is. If the slab is moving or breaking up through its full depth, he tells you that instead of coating over the problem.
