Pro Level Floor Coatings works out of Katy, TX, and the freeways decide what our map looks like. Houston sits about 29 miles east on Interstate 10. Cypress is about 24 miles northeast on US 290, the Northwest Freeway. Fulshear and Richmond are out west and southwest in Fort Bend County, where Richmond is the county seat, and Sugar Land is southwest of town on I-69. James Walsh loads the same grinder and the same buckets whether the job is ten minutes from our Katy base or an hour out the Grand Parkway.
Every city on this page gets the same process, because a slab does not care which side of a county line it sits on. Houses here are built slab on grade with no basement, the ground underneath stays wet, and the air is heavy most of the year. The NOAA 30 year normals for Houston Intercontinental put mean relative humidity near 90 percent at 6 AM and around 60 percent by noon, so a crew that starts early is coating close to dew point. That is the exact condition that hazes epoxy, and it is a real reason polyaspartic suits this climate. We diamond grind the slab open, fill the cracks and the pinholes, then build the coating into the concrete instead of painting over it. How far from Katy will you travel?
We work right across Houston, TX and out to Cypress, Fulshear, Sugar Land and Richmond. If you are close to one of those and not sure whether we come that far, call (346) 278-3376 and James will give you a straight answer.
Does the work change from one city to the next?
No. Every floor gets a diamond grind back to open concrete, every crack and pinhole gets filled, and the coating goes down after that. The drive changes, the preparation never does.
Do you coat homes and businesses?
Both. Most weeks it is home garages, patios and workshops, and we also coat shops, offices and other small commercial spaces. Tell us the size of the floor and how the room gets used.
