The man who quotes your floor is the man who runs the job
Pro Level Floor Coatings is James Walsh. He came into the concrete coating industry after a long career in sales and customer service, bringing a strong commitment to communication, professionalism and quality workmanship. James personally handles every estimate. He measures your garage floor, evaluates your concrete, explains your options, then coordinates that information directly with his installation crews. The same person who meets you at the start is the one who makes sure your project is completed exactly the way it should be. Have a look at everything we do.
The prep is the job. Everything else is the easy part
Coatings almost never fail because of the product. They fail because somebody rolled them over a dirty, sealed or untouched floor. So the slab gets a diamond grind back to open concrete, the cracks and pinholes get filled, and moisture gets checked before a drop of resin comes out of the bucket. NOAA's long term normals for Houston Intercontinental put average morning humidity around 90 percent, and coating a damp slab near dew point is what hazes a finish, which is a large part of why polyaspartic suits the Gulf Coast. It is the slow, dusty, unglamorous half of the job, and it is the half that decides whether the floor is still stuck down long after we leave. It is why our epoxy floors stay put.
We come back months later to shake your hand
Most contractors cash the check and disappear. James is the guy who calls or texts you weeks after the floor is finished to make sure it is holding up perfectly. Massive follow up and constant communication are core to how Pro Level operates, and he will tell you straight that it is the thing he does better than anybody. Part of that is pride, and part of it is research: a garage in Houston gets heat, humidity, hot tires and whatever rolls in off the driveway, and the only way to know how a system handles all that is to go and look at it. What he learns on those visits goes straight into the next garage floor we install.
Sometimes the honest answer is no
A coating is a surface. It cannot hold together a slab that is heaving, sinking or breaking up through its full depth, and anybody who tells you different is selling you a floor that will fail. If that is what James finds, he says so and you keep your money. We do not pour, fix, stain or level concrete. We grind it, coat it and flake it, so we have no reason to talk you into a job the slab cannot carry. Either way you get a straight answer and a free estimate first.
